Purdue University School of Aviation Technology and Transportation took home 5 winning designs for the 2020 ACRP Design Competion. The Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP), a program of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine, is sponsoring a national competition for universities that engages students in addressing issues relating to airports and the National Airspace System. PEGASAS Investigators and Purdue Faculty members Mary Johnson and John Mott lead the design teams. Three teams won first place in their subject area, with one team earning a 2nd place finish and another with 3rd place. Congrats to the students and faculty who worked hard on these projects!
